Bob Runde cue

Runde cue

“Runde cues” refer to custom pool cues made by master craftsman Bob Runde, who also co-founded Schon Cues.  After retiring from Schon, he created his own line of highly regarded custom cues known for their solid, crisp hit, a steel joint, and a 5/16 x 14 pin.  Bob Runde began making cues in the early 1970s.

This Runde is an example of the cue refinishing that is done here at Proficient Billiards. Depending on workload refinishing usually takes about 2-3 weeks.

R Series Schon cues

R Series Schon cues

R Series Schon cues were a line of custom pool cues made by the company Schon Cues starting in 1981. While they are no longer produced as a separate series, they are considered classic favorites from Schon’s years of cue making and have been incorporated into the broader Schon STL series, which features a collection of 21 of their most popular designs, according to Schön Cues. This is an example of finish work performed here at Proficient Billiards. #schon cue #schon cues #proficient billiards

DPK Kersenbrock helped form Southwest cues. Early examples are unmarked and can be authenticated by Southwest cues.
