Schon R1 cue – Dashed Ringwork

Schon R1 cue that was just here for refinishing work at Proficient Billiards.

Schön Cues is a highly prestigious, small-batch American custom pool cue manufacturer. Founded in 1981 by Terry Romine Sr. and legendary cue maker Bob Runde in Wisconsin, the brand is globally renowned for producing heirloom-quality cues that emphasize a signature “stiff hit”. The word “Schön” is German for “beautiful,” which directly reflects their intricate hand-cut inlay work and use of rare, hand-selected exotic hardwoods.

R Series Schon cues

R Series Schon cues

R Series Schon cues were a line of custom pool cues made by the company Schon Cues starting in 1981. While they are no longer produced as a separate series, they are considered classic favorites from Schon’s years of cue making and have been incorporated into the broader Schon STL series, which features a collection of 21 of their most popular designs, according to Schön Cues. This is an example of finish work performed here at Proficient Billiards. #schon cue #schon cues #proficient billiards

Ebony and ivory Schon LTD cue

Alternating black and white points look really awesome on this Schon cue. It’s something that you usually don’t see. It has the older gold letter Schon shaft, which we are able to maintain during the finish process. This one came in for a refinish, and a leather wrap.

Schon cue – logo in ivory window

This is a rarely seen Schon cue with the logo in one of the ivory windows. Almost all Schon cues have the logo on the butt cap. It’s an interesting design, with four ebony points featuring floating ivory inlays.
