Tad window cue vintage titlist blank

Tad Kohara started making Tad’s custom cues in 1978. In 1963 Tad Kohara decided to open Tad’s Family Billiards in Los Angeles. This was when billiards was booming after the movie “The Hustler” was released. Tad originally purchased a lathe to keep up with his house cues, and offer cue repairs to his patrons. During the same year he purchased the lathe, Tad began producing his own cues. The first Tad cues were not marked. In 1978 he added the Tad logo. Pictured are a few examples of cue refinishing and cue repair that we have performed here at Proficient Billiards.
