Paul Dayton was a cuemaker from Florida. Since he has passed his cues are becoming more collectable. It is Dayton’s actual signature that Shelby digitized and put on the cue. It is made from one of Dayton’s forearms that Shelby Williams was commissioned to finish out..

SOLD. This is a 96 Richard Black cue that has appeared to have seen virtually no play. The cue has been top coat refinished due to some finish settle. Shafts were finished and resealed. The wrap is the original and was repressed. All that is white on the cue appears to be ivory. Butt and shafts are straight together and apart. This cue is ready for action or would make a great addition to a collection.

We did not remove the cap as it was glued on solid and we were afraid of doing damage to the cue. So the window is a bit hazy on the inside. Weenie was in the Color of Money and gave Fat’s his nickname.

This is 1984 Gus Szamboti cue sent in for a refinish and a new lizard wrap by its original owner. The Cortland wrap was replaced with black lizard due to dry rot. The owner made a good choice. Ernie Gutierrez is a cue maker out of California who began making pool cues in 1961. Gina cues are easy to identify with the G logo on the butt cap, or earlier examples may have Gina cue engraved with block letters.

This McDermott D19 cue is a great example showing how some logos can be brought back to life. Jim McDermott started the McDermott cue company in 1975 in Wisconsin. McDermott cues are easy to identify with the four leaf clover surrounding an M on the butt cap. Later models had a gold decal McDermott logo.
