This is a Doc Frye cue. It was bought by it’s 2nd owner in 1971 at Blackie’s Billiards in Bethlehem PA. He stated that he paid $40 at that time. The butt section is straight. The shaft has a roll of about 1/8″. When screwed together the cue rolled straight at the tip. The cue is in 100% original condition and ready to be put in collection or as the owner states “plays amazing” and could be put right back use.
This case is older probably first generation Whitten. It is the older heavier built like a tank case. This one is grey leather and in near mint condition with only slight signs of use (mostly storage). This case was personalized and in speaking with Dan you can purchase a new name tag or a blank one. We have provided 2 other options here that will be included with the case (as pictured). One is a laser etched newer style logo on aluminum the other is lizard skin. $525
Here we have 2 Scruggs shafts. We just bought a collection / estate with some Scruggs stuff and unfortunately didn’t find the butt section that went along with these fancy shafts. Both 29 1/4 inch shafts are straight and have 1 inch ivory ferrules. Both shafts are 12.75mm and the tips look like they are LePro. Joint caps go along with. Will sell together or apart. $650 for the pair.

Mid 70’s Meucci Dice and Cards cue FOR SALE. This cue is a complete survivor. One shaft looks to have never been played, and the other maybe a handful of games. The cue looks like it was bought, put in the case, and never played. Of course due to a yellowing finish and settling we have refinished it to perfection. This Meucci Originals cue was rewrapped in period correct Hurlbert linen. The butt and shafts are all straight together and apart. Cards are all perfect as pictured. This stopperless prototype is among the rarest of the pre Gambler Meucci Originals. One like this will not be found in better condition. A total unicorn for a Meucci collector.
Weight – 20.6oz on both shafts
Shaft diameter – 13mm and 12mm
Length – 58.25″ and 60″
Butt section – 29″
This is the earliest of the Meucci cues. It was made when Bob Meucci worked for Paul Huebler… hence why there is a nylon insert. It just came out of a Meucci collection we are selling off. The shaft and butt are straight together and apart. The has a larger body to it than the later Meucci’s do after he refined his methods. The cue is in original condition with minimal play. We did hit some balls with it and it plays surprisingly well.
Weight – 19.7oz
Shaft diameter – 11.8mm
Length – 57.5″
This cue plays well enough to be put into use, or would probably sit as a piece of history in any serious Meucci collection.
